70% on time

Hi Everybody!

I was just talking with a friend from Austria who flew home the other day about the airlines claiming how on-time their flights are. On the internet it said his current flight was on time 70% of the time but it really didn't mean much to us. You still don't know when you board if you will be in the 30 percentile or the 70% that day which is probably a 50/50 chance.
Either your flight will be on time or it won't. That's a fact I have faced on many flights. Therefore every flight has a 50% chance of being late. Makes sense, right?!

Well, maybe not. I want to apologize for being late once again. My brother is traveling the country right now and I was tasked with updating the website. Only I didn't know about it due to a misunderstanding and just now got around to do it. I hope I did it right.

Hi from Vegas!

Howdy folks! We apologize that the strip was up a bit later than usual today! The reason is that I am currently visiting Mike in Las Vegas (and already lost $3.00 at the slot machines here!), so I'm 9 hours behind my regular time. Since I'll be here for a little while, the next two updates might be at a bit irregular times too, but rest assured that we won't forget about them!

Unfortunately there has already been an accident in the qualifying rounds. Godspeed to the pilot! Let's hope it's the last accident for a long time. We have a very interesting thread going in our forum about avation accident and how pilots really feel about it. Check it out here! (if you like). I know we mess around in almost all of our threads, but this one is really worth reading I think. (Warning! Serious content!)

Chuck's venture continues!

It's been a while since we've had our last strip concerning Chuck and his noble quest to build his own F4-U Corsair. I think most of the strips in this storyline are actually only in our second book. And many more are coming soon in our next book! The requests for book three are mounting to a serious level, and let me tell you that this gnaws at our conscience every day! We know that we're behind schedule... But it's not going to take much longer, I promise! Just a little bit more patience!!
